The revised Homebuyer Tax Credit now includes at federal tax credit of $6,500 towards the purchase of a home prior to April 30, 2010 and must close by July 1, 2010.

Income limits are $125,000 annual income for a single person and $250,000 annual income for a married couple. The limitation of the home’s purchase price must be no greater than $800,000. The eligibility includes the purchaser must have resided in their existing home no less than 5 years over the past 8 years.
